MMPA purchases a portion of our power from Manitoba Hydro under a long-term contract. This agreement supports MMPA's commitment to sustainable energy.
Nearly all of Manitoba Hydro’s electricity is generated from self-renewing water power from 14 hydroelectric generating stations, primarily on the Winnipeg, Saskatchewan and Nelson rivers. Manitoba Hydro also maintains an extensive infrastructure to support the production and delivery of power.
